  1. What is the Weddin Mountain Muster?

    The Muster consists of 5 days of guided trail rides through Grenfell and the surrounding countryside. The event is based at the Grenfell Showground, with trail rides leaving from and returning to the Showground each day. Read more about the Muster here.

  2. Who are the Weddin Mountain Muster Committee?

    The Weddin Mountain Muster Committee is a sub-committee of the Grenfell PAH & I Association and works closely with both the Grenfell Show Society and Grenfell Showground Land Managers. Read more about the Committee here.

  3. Where are supplies for the Muster sourced?

    We source the majority of what we require to run the event locally. If we cannot source it in Grenfell, we support the surrounding towns. We encourage our participants to support the businesses that support us by shopping locally during their stay.

  4. Where does the money raised by the the Muster go?

    The proceeds from the event goes towards the maintenance and upgrades to the Grenfell Showground. In the past it has assisted with the reroofing of the grandstand, the extensions to the Simpson Pavilion, the sand area, and the build of the Nev Condon Memorial Stables.

    Each year the Weddin Mountain Muster also gives a donation to a local charity or organisation within the Weddin Shire. Previous recipients have been the Grenfell Hospital Auxiliary, Can Assist Grenfell, Grenfell Historical Society, Grenfell Pony Club, Country Education Foundation Grenfell.
